I am interested in understanding polynomial learnability of certain problems is machine learning, specifically the problem of polynomial learning of parameters of a mixture of distributions. I am also interested in developing and analyzing algorithms for unsupervised and semi-supervised learning, active learning, learning mixture models, information retrieval or any other
interesting applications involving optimization, data mining and machine learning.
