Research Profile
My research interests include
- Web and Text Mining, especially to produce large-scale repositories of semantic knowledge about entities and their relationships
- Integrating and ranking information from heterogeneous data sources
- Applications of Machine Learning, Graph Algorithms to Web, Natural Language Processing, and Data Integration Problems
In my thesis, I developed algorithms to extend WordNet with over 15 million words and named entities in over 200 languages (UWN).
My papers have been accepted at conferences like CIKM 2009, ACL 2010 and CIKM 2010, where I won the Best Paper award.
