I am currently in seach of a post-doctorate or research engineer position in the Computer Science domain. I currently work as a PhD student and plan to graduate in September 2012. My research work focused on the utilization of the hypergraph theory in computer vision problems, especially image and video segmentation. It has been the subject for numerous international publications, including 5 IEEE international conferences paper (one of them won the Best Paper Award), 1 book chapter in the LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) series, and 2 international journals (including Pattern Recognition and Journal of Mathematical Imaging and Vision). A link to the Pattern Recognition article follows:
I have strong mathematical and programming skills, scientific awareness and scientific experience and expertise in the following domains: graph/hypergraph theory, image processing and segmentation, machine learning, classification and clustering, algebraic and matrix theory, Markov stochastic processes.
