Job Details:
Postdoctoral research on rigorous foundations for data privacy. The goal is the development of new algorithms for the privacy-preserving publication and analysis of large data sets.
Applicants should have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, theoretical computer science, algorithms, cryptography, statistics, data mining. The project allows for a mix of theoretical and empirical research, but mathematical maturity and the ability to quickly grasp ideas from other fields are a must.
