Job Details:
We have one or more positions for post-docs and/or visiting researchers available immediately. We seek individuals with a demonstrated record of success in one or more areas of document image analysis, including:
- Handwriting recognition
- Multilingual techniques in document analysis
- Information extraction (intelligence gathering) from documents
- Systems issues in the organization and management of large document collection
- Data mining applied to large document collections
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team are important attributes. Broad multilingual familiarity is a plus.
These positions start as soon as possible and will extend through December 2010.
Lehigh is a mid-sized private university located in a beautiful setting in the northeastern United States, less than two hours drive from New York and Philadelphia and three hours from Washington, DC.
