Job Details:
The Naval Postgraduate School’s National Capital Region office is seeking a qualified research scientist to oversee and be actively involved in our advanced digital forensics research program. The work location will be our NPS-NCR facility in Arlington VA. Areas of research include: developing new approaches for bulk data analysis and cross-media correlation; reverse engineering data structures and file systems; assisting in the management of the NPS Real Data Corpus; and outreach efforts to federal, state and local governments. The applicant must posses a PhD in digital forensics, computer science, or a related field. Applicant must be a US citizen and have an active TOP SECRET clearance or investigation.
