Summary
The Data Management Group in the Computational Research Division is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on research, simulation and implementation of energy-smart disk based mass storage technology.

Specifically you will:
Analyze disk access workloads in data centers, modeling and simulation of disk storage systems. Develop algorithms to optimize energy usage in large data centers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physical Sciences or Engineering within the last five years.
* Strong research background in disk storage technologies and file systems.
* Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python, experience with simulation software such as SimPy, good presentation and communication skills is desired.
