Research Interests:
My research interests include multimedia content analysis, and machine learning applications. The major research achievements from my group include news video summarization, sports highlight detection, data clustering, SmartCatch video surveillance that led to a successful spin-off, and human gender/age/race recognition that resulted in the first commercial product of this kind in the world in 2007.
