Posted on: Wednesday, May 20th, 2009
Broad Research Area: Graphics / Visualization, HCI / CSCW

Research Interests:

My research explores the psychological factors underlying complex decision making in computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) environments through the use of experimental human-in-the-loop simulations and mixed-methodological approaches. I am specifically interested in the role of emotions and stress in team cognition. My work has generally focused on the domain of crisis management, but I am becoming increasingly involved in team-based applications in health care system, emergency and otherwise.
