Broad Research Area: Hardware / Architecture, Networks / Operating Systems, Programming Languages / Compilers
Research Interests:
My key research interests are: making it simpler to write, debug and deploy parallel programs to address the concurrency challenge; develop energy-aware programming models; exploring systems software for non-volatile main memory. Sample research projects include making multiprocessor systems deterministic, dynamic concurrency bug avoidance, debugging, concurrency exceptions for failstop behavior of race condition, energy-aware programming models, etc.
