Research Interests:

Research in the use of advanced architecture computers for modeling and simulation, especially in the area of numerical solutions of PDEs arising from large-scale scientific computing problems. Current interests include applying simulation and modeling techniques in the area of systems biology, tumor modeling, heart simulations and other biological areas, as well as interactive visualization on parallel computers, parallel reservoir/groundwater simulation, turbulent convective flows, multigrid techniques, multi-resolution wavelets and wave propagation.
