Research Interests:
We live in a world supported by large-scale IT system and network infrastructures. Many of these systems and networks are mission critical infrastructures and are engineered with tremendous complexity. My research interests focus on the following
topics across multiple disciplines in computer science:
1. Understanding the nature of system complexity by combining data analysis and mining with first principles.
2. Modeling system properties based on system and network knowledge.
3. Developing automated and intelligent solutions based on statistical inference, information theory, optimization, system and control theory.
