Posted on: Friday, June 12th, 2009
Broad Research Area: AI / Machine Learning / Robotics / Vision

Research Interests:

I am interested in the biomechanics of locomotion through fluids, with a special focus of mechanics of fish propulsion. In my lab we use many different experimental techniques to understand the production of locomotor forces by freely swimming fishes, and also a variety of biorobotic systems to study fish fin and body function. My lab web site (http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~glauder/) and our YouTube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/LauderLab) have many videos and all recent reprints.
