Research Interests:

We are interested in understanding and designing systems capable of supporting group interactions and communication in a variety of contextual environments. Our current research programs span a number of areas including understanding how various forms of visual information influence social interactions, building computational models and systems that account for real-time contextual information to support interaction, and developing applications that make use of large-scale community-based knowledge repositories and rely upon this data to develop a new class of “globally and regionally-aware” applications.
