Broad Research Area: Networks / Operating Systems, Numerical/Scientific Computing / HPC / Data-Intensive Scalable Computing
Research Interests:
My research focuses on two broad areas. First, Internet measurement and the application of these measurements in timely problems, such as the detection of network neutrality violations, the diagnosis of performance problems, and the adaptive transport of video streams.
Second, I am working on applications of network science in biology, neuroscience and climate science.
Currently funded research projects:
1. Evolution of the Internet ecosystem.
2. Applications of network measurements in performance monitoring and diagnosis.
3. Internet video technologies.
4. Economics of network interconnections.
5. Applications of network science in biology, neuroscience and climate science.
