Research Interests:
Development of technology to assist practitioners and policy makers in meeting the challenge of eliciting and expressing policies/laws (a form of requirements). These tools help ensure that privacy/security policies and laws are aligned with the software systems that they govern and are designed with an understanding of societal values. Specific domains include HIPPA governed health care IT (electronic health records and personal health records); ecommerce (online behavioral marketing); GLBA governed financial systems; etc.
