Research Interests:
My current research focuses on various aspects of social computing. My work has spans topics such as collaborative tagging for inferring user interests/expertise and indexing rich media content such as audio and video, communication dynamics in social networks, inferring interestingness of conversations around media objects such as YouTube videos, social synchrony in social networks, privacy and awareness. I am also starting to study microblogging.
